Stokerij de Molenberg Sola Jerez 2016 is a Belgian single malt released to mark the distillery's third anniversary. It is bottled at 46% ABV in a 50cl bottle, and 10,000 bottles were produced.
The whisky marries distillate from early 2010 with pre-distillery trial spirit from 2007, and it is finished solely in Oloroso sherry casks from Jerez in Spain.
It is described as rich and fruit-driven, with dried figs, raisins and candied citrus peel over sweet honeyed malt, and a gently spiced, oak-tinged finish.
