Stork Club Straight Rye Whiskey is a German rye from Spreewald Distillers, made from German rye and bottled at 45% in a 70cl bottle. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour.
It matures in American oak casks toasted specially for this whiskey. A small share of casks made from German Napoleon oak, at least 250 years old, is added for a subtle fruitiness and fine spice.
The flavour brings ripe fruit and the sweetness of light caramel. Vanilla and coconut unfold in the finish, while dark spices, a touch of coffee and black pepper add depth.
