Stranahan's Blue Peak is an American single malt distilled in Denver, Colorado, and named after a 13,000-foot peak in Aspen. It has been a permanent part of the range since October 2020 and is bottled at 43% ABV in a 75cl bottle.
It is made from 100% malted barley, double-distilled and aged for four years in new charred American oak, then moved into oak foeders for a Solera finish.
The nose has a grainy aroma with fresh red apple sweetness and wheat toast. The palate echoes the toast, with buttery vanilla, baking spices and peach skin.
