Stranahan's Colorado Whiskey is an American single malt made at Stranahan's Distillery in Denver, Colorado. It is distilled from 100% malted barley and bottled at 47% ABV.
The whiskey matures in new charred American oak barrels stored at altitude, where seasonal temperature swings work on the spirit and the wood.
The nose offers toasted malt, honey, orange zest and warm vanilla, with oak spice and a hint of dark chocolate. The palate is medium to full in body, with baked orchard fruit, butterscotch, clove and caramel. The finish is warm and lasting, with malted barley, seasoned oak and gentle spice.
