A 12 year old Speyside single malt from Strathmill, distilled in 2005 and bottled in 2017 at 57.8% ABV. It is a single cask release from the Scotch Malt Whisky Society, code 100.17, titled Fresh As A Glacial Facial, with 157 bottles produced.
The nose has pine wood and lemon with a hint of ginger. The palate is thin, with lemon, cherry and a big hit of crystallised ginger. The finish is short, with gingerbread and lemon. With water, cedar wood and cinnamon appear on the nose and the ginger becomes more present.
