This is a 28 year old Strathmill from Speyside, distilled on 31 July 1996 and bottled on 2 July 2025 by Halcyon Spirits. After its first maturation it spent three years finishing in a fresh Oloroso sherry hogshead, cask #2053, and was bottled at a cask strength of 55.3%. There are 132 bottles, non-chill-filtered and of natural colour.
The nose offers cut hay, lemon peel, apple, pear and soft vanilla with digestive biscuit. On the palate come barley sugar, creamy cereal, chamomile, white pepper and almond. The finish is dry and clean, with soft oak tannins, barley husk and citrus pith.
