Sweetens Cove Cask Strength 13 Year Old is a straight bourbon from the United States, aged for 13 years in new American oak barrels. It is bottled at a natural cask strength of 56.85%, without chill filtration, in a 75cl bottle.
The bourbon was selected in small batches by master blender Marianne Eaves. The brand takes its name from a Tennessee golf course.
The nose offers rich caramel, toasted pecans, dark chocolate and a trace of tobacco. The palate is full-bodied and warming, with vanilla bean, charred oak, molasses, ripe cherries and baking spice. The finish is long, with sweet oak, cocoa and peppery warmth.
