Tamdhu – 12 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky (75cl)

Tamdhu 12 Year Old is a Speyside single malt in a 750ml bottle. It was launched in 2018 to replace the distillery's previous 10 Year Old flagship. It matures in a combination of first-fill and refill Oloroso sherry casks, made from both American and European oak. Tamdhu matures its whole range in ex-Oloroso casks sourced from bodegas in Jerez, a practice that goes back to a first shipment of sherry casks in 1898. The distillery also malts its own barley on site in a Saladin box maltings. The nose shows dried fruit and sherry, toasted malt syrup, biscuit, roasted nuts, cedar and delicate baking spice.
