Tamdhu – 12 Years Old (43%)

Tamdhu 12 Years Old is a Speyside single malt bottled at 43% ABV. It is matured in European and American oak casks that previously held Oloroso sherry. Tamdhu stands on the River Spey and has used water from the river since the distillery was founded in 1897. That year it received its first shipments of sherry casks from Spanish bodegas, and it still matures its whisky in Oloroso sherry casks from start to finish. These casks shape the fruity flavour and depth of colour of the distillery's whiskies.
