Batch 4 of Tamdhu Gran Reserva, a Speyside single malt bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle. All Tamdhu matures in Oloroso sherry casks, and for this release only hand-selected first-fill Oloroso casks from Jerez were used.
The nose is rich sherry oak with almond toffee, light citrus and cloves. The palate combines sherry sweetness and complex oak with a tingle of zest, spice and soft fruit. The finish is balanced, with cinnamon, vanilla and dark chocolate.
