Tamnavulin 13 Year Old Release 13 is a Speyside single malt distilled in 2011 and bottled at 51.2% in an outturn of 470 bottles. The artwork is by ZombieSqueegee.
For the last two years of its maturation the whisky sat in a Moscatel Port pipe.
The nose starts soft, then opens to apricot Danish, ginger snaps and orange marmalade. The palate is silky and warming, with honeyed cereal, candied citrus, baking spice and a background note of Moscatel sweetness. The finish brings sweet oak and wine gums.
