This is a 29 year old Tamnavulin single malt from Speyside, distilled in the 1990s and bottled by The Stillman's Dram at 45% abv. Tamnavulin was silent between 1995 and 2007, and most of its production goes into blends. It was relaunched as a single malt in 2016. The nose is herbal and nutty, with chestnut and a hint of beeswax. The palate is sweet and mouth-coating, with malt, liquorice and peppermint. The finish is fresh and crisp, medium in length and firm in body.
