Gordon & MacPhail bottled it in 2011 for its Connoisseurs Choice range, at 43% ABV in a 70cl bottle. Tamnavulin takes its name from the Gaelic for 'mill on the hill'. It was established in 1966, mothballed less than 30 years later and revived in 2007. The nose is floral with cereal notes. The palate is soft and gentle with subtle spice, and the finish is slightly sweet.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
