Tantita Pena Reposado Tequila (70cl, 38%)

Tantita Pena Reposado is a tequila from Jalisco, made solely from blue agave. The agave is cooked slowly, crushed to extract the juice, then fermented and distilled. It is aged in American oak for six to nine months, which gives soft notes of vanilla and caramel with light spice and wood. The palate is soft and well structured, opening sweet with cooked agave, then chocolate and dried fruit. The finish is smooth and gently spiced, with a slightly sharp freshness balancing the sweetness.
