A Taurasi red wine from Amarano, made from Aglianico in the hills of Campania. It is aged for a long period in oak barrels, giving it complexity and structure. In the glass it is deep ruby, with aromas of ripe red fruit, spices, balsamic notes, tobacco and leather. On the palate it is enveloping, robust and well balanced, with silky tannins and a persistent finish. It pairs with red meats, roasts and aged cheeses.
