Teaninich 10 Year Old is a cask strength single malt, No. 4 in the Mossburn Vintage Casks series. It was distilled at Teaninich and bottled on 30 November 2017, without colouring or chill-filtration.
The whisky was aged in old Oloroso casks of 500 litres. The limited oak influence from such large casks made it possible to bottle at cask strength.
The nose offers a mix of herbs and spices with a touch of lavender. The palate is rounded, spicy and complex, with subtle notes of sweet pepper towards the finish.
