A Teaninich 10 Years Old from the Flora and Fauna series, a single malt Scotch bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle. It is a medium gold in the glass.
The nose is fresh and citrus-led, with oranges and lemons over violets, moving towards concentrated orange juice and older oranges. Water softens and sweetens it, bringing out clover flowers and beeswax.
The palate is light and slightly sweet but dry overall, with a pleasant acidity and a pinch of salt. The finish is long and dry, and the beeswax returns in the aftertaste.
