Teaninich – 11 Year Old 2015 Ruby Port Finish 50th Anniversary of Kirsch Import Duncan Taylor The Octave (55.4%)

This Teaninich is an 11 year old Highland single malt, bottled by Duncan Taylor in The Octave range to mark the 50th anniversary of Kirsch Import. It was bottled at 55.4% from cask 6750907, with an outturn of 66 bottles. The whisky was distilled on 6 May 2015 and bottled on 16 September 2026. Before bottling it was finished in a Ruby Port octave cask, a small cask that gives the spirit extra contact with the wood. Teaninich distillery stands in Alness in the Northern Highlands and was founded in 1817 by Captain Hugh Munro. Its spirit is described as fresh, clear and grassy, often with light citrus.
