Teaninich 11 Year Old is a Highland single malt bottled by James Eadie at 48.3% ABV, in natural colour and without chill-filtration.
After eleven years of maturation it received a further eleven months in Malaga hogsheads made from European oak, an uncommon cask choice in Scotch whisky.
The release draws on James Eadie stock books from 1854, rediscovered only a few years ago, which show the house's preference for finishing whisky in liqueur wine casks.
