Teaninich – 11 Year Old Reserve Cask Parcel 5 Single Malts of Scotland (70cl, 48%)

This is an 11 year old Highland single malt from Teaninich, bottled by Elixir Distillers for The Single Malts of Scotland Reserve Casks series. It comes in a 70cl bottle at 48% ABV. Parcel 5 was put together from five oak casks holding whisky distilled in 2007, 2008 and 2009. It was bottled in 2021, without added colour and without chill-filtration. The nose offers fresh herbs, citrus, green apple and light grain. The palate is oily and spicy, with citrus, malt, gentle sweetness and fresh oak. The finish is medium in length, dry and herbal.
