A 13-year-old Highland single malt from Teaninich, matured in a single first fill Amontillado sherry hogshead. Brave New Spirits selected it for The Whisky Heroes series and bottled it at a cask strength of 51.9% ABV, without chill-filtering.
The nose is a soft, inviting vanilla sweetness. On the palate, sweet honey and apple meet a subtle, spicy note of tobacco. The finish is long, with dry walnut and fine tannin.
