Captain Shug and the Second Sight is a 13 year old Teaninich Highland single malt, part of batch 4 of the WhiskyHeroes series from Brave New Spirits. It was distilled in 2012 and finished in a first-fill Amontillado sherry hogshead.
Bottled at 51.9% in a 70cl bottle, it comes from 349 bottles and is neither coloured nor chill-filtered.
The nose is gently sweet with vanilla. Honey sweetness and apple lead the palate, with a faint tobacco spice, and the finish is long and dry with walnut and fine tannin.
