Teaninich – 15 Year Old 2008/2023 1st Fill Amontillado Sherry Best Dram (51.4%)

This is a 15 year old single malt from Teaninich in the Highlands, distilled in 2008 and bottled in 2023 for Whisky Druid's Best Dram series. It is bottled at a cask strength of 51.4% ABV, non-chill-filtered and of natural colour, in a tube, from 304 bottles. It matured in a first-fill hogshead that had previously held Amontillado sherry. It is described as moving from zesty fruit notes through malt to dark, ripe fruits.
