A 9 year old Teaninich from the Highlands, bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It comes from the Connoisseurs Choice range of Gordon MacPhail, the independent, family-run bottler. The whisky was distilled in 2004, matured in refill sherry casks and bottled in 2013.
Teaninich distillery was founded in 1817.
The nose is sweet and fruity, with strawberries and oranges. On the palate come chilli, stewed pears and milk chocolate.
