This is a single cask Teaninich, distilled in January 2007 and bottled in September 2022 after 15 years in a single American oak cask. Hart Brothers selected it and bottled it at a natural cask strength of 53.6%, without chill-filtration or colouring.
The nose opens with fresh orchard fruit, tropical fruit, creamy vanilla and strawberries, with red berries and orange peel following. The palate is full-bodied, with black and white pepper and chilli alongside vanilla and orange marmalade, then orange and lime peel. The medium finish starts spicy, moves to fruity sweetness and citrus, and ends in dry oak.
