Teaninich – 2008 14 Year Old Infrequent Flyers

Teaninich 14 Year Old is a single malt distilled on 1 July 2008 and bottled in March 2023, finished in a rye barrel. Only 249 bottles were filled. It is batch 12, release 99 in Alistair Walker's Infrequent Flyers range. The nose brings pineapple, toasted digestive biscuits, like shortcrust fresh from the oven, and Pink Lady apples. The palate is fruity and sweet, with a little chewing gum and parma violets, a delicate touch of treacle toffee with almonds, and a peppery spice almost like Szechuan pepper. The body is medium with good viscosity.
