This is a 13-year-old Teaninich single malt from the Highlands, distilled in 2010 and bottled in 2023 by James Eadie at 56.5% ABV. It is a single cask release of 319 bottles.
The whisky matured first in traditional casks and then received a finish in a refill Marsala hogshead. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colouring.
The nose brings dried grapes and figs with Marsala spice and a touch of vanilla. On the palate it is full-bodied, with honey and dark fruit, gentle spice and a mild nuttiness. The finish is long and warm, with some dryness and traces of oak and Marsala.
