Teaninich – 2012-2023 9 Year Old Murray McDavid Single Cask (70cl, 53.2%)

This is a 9 year old Highland single malt from Teaninich, distilled in 2012 and bottled in 2023 by Murray McDavid in a 70cl bottle. It was released as a UK exclusive for their Benchmark range, at a natural strength of 53.2%, without colouring or chill filtration. The whisky comes from a single cask that previously held Pineau de Charentes, the French aperitif made from fortified grape must, which is said to lend summer fruit flavours. The cask yielded 162 bottles.
