This is an independent bottling of a 2012 Teaninich single malt from the Highlands, released by Murray McDavid in a 70cl bottle at 56.8%. Teaninich distillery was founded in 1817, closed in 1985 and has produced whisky again since 1991. Murray McDavid was founded in 1994 by Mark Reynier, Simon Coughlin and Gordon Wright, and became known for finishing whiskies in casks obtained directly from producers. Its home is the disused Coleburn distillery in Speyside.
