This is a 9 year old Highland single malt from Teaninich, distilled in 2015 and bottled by Duncan Taylor in its Battlehill series at 46% ABV.
The bottling is aimed at showing the pure character of the distillery, in a young and lively style.
On the nose there are freshly baked cinnamon buns, rich malt and a touch of marmalade. The palate is soft and round, with creamy toffee, juicy peach, toasted oak and fine spice. The finish is pleasantly long and warming, with ginger and clove.
