This Teaninich is a Highland single malt distilled in 2016 and bottled in 2026 at ten years old. It is a small-batch release from Signatory Vintage's Un-Chillfiltered Collection, bottled at 46% with no added colour and no chill-filtering.
It finished its maturation in first-fill Pedro Ximénez sherry hogsheads, which add dark, sweet fruit to a green apple and fresh grass character.
The nose offers green and baked apple, honeyed malt, raisins, dates and cocoa, with orange peel, cinnamon and polished oak. The palate is rich and silky, with dark sugar, chocolate, figs and roasted nuts. The long finish brings dark syrup, raisins and cocoa, with oak and a clear sherry influence.
