This Teaninich 8 Year Old is a single grain whisky from Diageo's 2025 Special Releases. It was made in 2016 using a rare mash filter, combining malted rye and barley, and matured in ex-bourbon casks. Few Scottish grain whiskies have a rye influence.
It is bottled at a natural cask strength of 60.3%.
The nose is green, herbal and spicy, and the palate is creamy and smooth. The finish is short and sharply spicy, with a pinch of dried coconut in the aftertaste.
