Teaninich – 9 Year Old Bourbon Barrel by Carn Mor (70cl, 47.5%)

A 9 year old single malt from Teaninich, matured in a bourbon barrel and bottled by Carn Mor at 47.5% in a 70cl bottle. It is one of 536 bottles, with 180 of them allocated to the UK. The whisky is natural colour and non-chill filtered. Vanilla and orange marmalade come through on the nose, followed by buttery shortbread on the palate and a nutty finish. It is described as a clean, well-rounded malt.
