An extra añejo tequila made from 100% Blue Weber Agave grown on the volcanic highlands of Jalisco. It began as a private-stock passion project by Master Tequilero Germán González Gorrochotegui and is aged for five years in Scotch, Sherry and Cognac casks.
The nose shows cooked agave, oak, caramel and spice, with vanilla, honey and dried fruit. The palate is sumptuous, with dried cherries, dark chocolate, toffee, crème brûlée and a smoky-spicy hint of chipotle pepper.
The finish is long and elegant, with cinnamon, cloves, sweet raisin, caramel and balanced oak warmth.
