Teeling Single Grain Red Wine Cask (70cl, 46%)

This is an Irish single grain whiskey from Teeling, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It is non-chill-filtered. The whiskey comes from a batch originally intended for Greenore. Teeling Whiskey Company took it over and matured it in alternative casks, in this case red wine casks. The first batch ran to around 5,000 bottles. The release reflects the company's aim of widening the choice within Irish whiskey, where grain whiskey makes up most of what is sold.
