Teerenpeli – 15 Year Old (50cl, 54.9%)

Teerenpeli 15 Year Old is a Finnish single malt, bottled in 2024 at 54.9% in a 50cl bottle. It was released to mark 30 years of the Teerenpeli Group and was the distillery's oldest single malt at the time. It is made from Finnish malted barley and groundwater from the Salpausselkä ridge. The whisky is a vatting of 65% ex-bourbon cask and 35% ex-sherry cask whisky, each matured for at least 15 years. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colouring. The nose offers caramelised apple, oak and vanilla, with sponge cake, honey and banana porridge. On the palate there is fresh fruit, sweet vanilla and caramel, with orange peel and Amalfi lemon. The finish is smooth and balanced, with a touch of spice.
