Teerenpeli Akte 11 Year Old is a Finnish single malt, the third part of the Amarone Cask Trilogy. It matured for ten years in ex-Bourbon casks, then spent 13 months finishing in Amarone wine casks.
It is bottled at a cask strength of 54.9% in a 50cl bottle, non-chill-filtered and with no added colour.
Ripe blackberries, a trace of caramel and fudge mark the nose. The palate combines tannin, leather and a little pepper with creamy fudge and a hint of dry red wine. The finish is long and warm.
