Kulo is a Finnish single malt from Teerenpeli, bottled at seven years old. It matured in a combination of ex-Oloroso and ex-Pedro Ximénez casks and is bottled at 50.7% in a 50cl bottle. This batch was made up from vats 1 to 19.
The nose is dominated by dark raisins, dried figs, dark chocolate and candied orange, with spicy, woody notes. The palate is full and intense, sherry-sweet, malty and nutty, with toffee, coffee, cocoa and a light spiciness. The finish is long, warm and slightly drying, with lingering sherry and oak.
