Tenuta di Fessina Erse Etna Rosso DOC is a red wine made from Nerello Mascalese grown on the volcanic slopes of Etna. Vinification and ageing are carried out with artisanal care, with ageing in wooden barrels giving an harmonious balance between freshness and complexity, with elegant, well-polished tannins. In the glass it is a vivid ruby red; the nose opens with fresh red fruits, delicate floral notes and light spicy hints. On the palate it is sapid, with a refined tannic texture and surprising persistence. It pairs well with grilled red meats, aged cheeses and mushroom dishes.
