Tenuta Le Colonne Bolgheri DOC

A Bolgheri DOC from Tenuta Le Colonne, from the Tuscan coast. It is based mainly on typical Bolgheri varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and sometimes Cabernet Franc, which integrate harmoniously. Ageing includes a careful passage in oak barriques, giving elegance, soft tannins and a lightly toasted note. In the glass it has an intense colour; the nose opens with ripe red fruit, spicy notes and balsamic hints. The palate is enveloping and well balanced, with a pleasant persistence that invites another sip. It is ideal with red meats, roasts and aged cheeses.
