Tenuta Villa Rovere Sangiovese Superiore Olindo

Tenuta Villa Rovere Sangiovese Superiore Olindo is a red wine from Italy, made from Sangiovese grown in well-positioned vineyards. It has a deep ruby red colour with garnet reflections, and a nose of ripe red fruits such as cherry and plum, with spicy notes and a delicate touch of vanilla from ageing in wooden barrels. On the palate it is robust yet harmonious, with mature, well-integrated tannins and balanced acidity, giving a long, pleasantly fresh finish. It pairs well with Italian meat dishes, roasts, aged cheeses and cured meats, and is best served at about 18 degrees C.
