A Sangiovese di Romagna Riserva from Terre Cevico. It has an intense, measured character: deep ruby colour, aromas of ripe cherry and plum with light spicy notes and undergrowth. On the palate it is full and well structured, with firm but polished tannins, good acidity that keeps the sip lively, and a savoury finish that underlines its persistence. The balance between fruit and tannic structure offers immediate pleasure and room to evolve. It suits flavourful dishes such as roast or braised meats, rustic tomato sauces, cured meats and aged cheeses. Serve slightly cool, around 16-18 C; a short decantation helps open the aromas.
