A 22-year-old Dumbarton from That Boutique-y Whisky Company, batch 3, bottled at 47.8% ABV. It is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour, and 75 bottles were released. Dumbarton is a closed distillery, and the label shows strong men outside it and an elephant carrying grain. The nose shows grain developing towards fresh bread, with lemon, dry grass and vanilla. On the palate come candied fruit and sweet spices, then sugared almonds, green apple and molasses. The finish is lingering, with toffee and citrus.
