The Black Douglas is an 8-year-old blended Scotch whisky, bottled at 40% in a large 1.125 litre bottle. It takes its name from James Douglas, the Scottish warrior.
The nose combines peat smoke with vanilla and oak. On the palate there is caramel, spice and a touch of nuttiness, followed by a long finish.
