The Busker Single Grain is an Irish single grain whiskey bottled at 44.3% in a 70cl bottle. It is pale gold in the glass, and the influence of bourbon casks brings a soft sweetness, with a little oak giving it shape.
The nose is soft vanilla, marshmallow, lemon blossom, warm sugar cookie and a faint herbal note. The palate shows butterscotch, toasted coconut, clean grain and citrus soda, and the middle adds rice pudding with nutmeg, sweetcorn bread and a little white chocolate.
The finish is short and clean, with vanilla bean, lemon zest and a hint of malt.
