The Busker – Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey (70cl, 44.3%)

This is a single pot still Irish whiskey from The Busker, bottled at 44.3% in a 70cl bottle. It is a rich gold in the glass. The nose brings porridge oats, banana bread, cracked black pepper, green herbs and orchard fruit. The palate is textured and oily, with creamy malt, baking spice and toasted barley, then sweet toffee and vanilla before the pot still heat returns. Further in come nutmeg, roasted grain, ripe apple, ginger and clove. The finish is long, warm and rustic, with grain and spice.
