The Cabinet Barrel Proof is a 2023 Edition blended whiskey from Proof & Wood Ventures, made in the USA from a blend of straight rye and straight bourbon whiskeys.
The rye whiskeys were distilled in 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017, each from a mashbill of 95% rye and 5% barley. The bourbons were distilled in 2016 and 2017, one with 75% corn, 21% rye and 4% barley, the other with 99% corn and 1% barley. All of the whiskeys were aged in new charred oak.
