The Epicurean 12 Year Old (46%)

The Epicurean 12 Year Old is a blended malt from Douglas Laing, made from single malts from the Lowlands of Scotland that were married and then matured together for a further twelve years. It is golden in colour, non-chill-filtered and without added colour. The name honours a Glasgow personality of the 1930s who was the life of every party, held company spellbound with tales of travel and good food and drink. The nose is rich with malt, citrus fruit, flowers and spice. The palate is sweet, with brown sugar, mixed spice, thyme, peach and boiled sweets, and the finish stays spicy with almond, cut grass and burnt sugar.
