The Famous Grouse 18 Year Old (70cl)

The Famous Grouse 18 Year Old is a blended Scotch whisky in a 70cl bottle. Mathew Gloag created the blend in 1896 and first called it the Grouse Blend. The 'Famous' prefix was added in 1905, after the success of the brand, and the Royal Warrant followed in 1984. The brand is owned by the Edrington Group. Its blenders still follow four fundamentals: foundation, which means keeping to the Gloag family traditions; finest, which means keeping up quality; flavour, which means creating aroma through maturation; and fusion, which means perfecting the blend.
