A blended Scotch whisky from The Famous Grouse, in a 75cl bottle from the 1990s, bottled at 43% abv. Highland Park is named as an influence on the blend.
The nose is aromatic and clean, with toasted malt, toffee and butter biscuit alongside sherried apricot, raisins and orange peel. On the palate it is silky and medium to full in body, with malt, honey and caramel set against cinnamon, clove and soft pepper, over a smoky, mineral and slightly salty background.
The finish is medium to long, dry and warm, with polished oak, bitter cocoa, baking spices and a faint breath of peat smoke.
